LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Boston Uprising announced today that Young-Jin “Gamsu” Noh has been traded to the Shanghai Dragons and Cameron “Fusions” Bosworth has been called up to the Overwatch League.
Noh competed with the Uprising throughout the Overwatch League’s inaugural season as a main tank player. He played a key role for a team that finished third in the regular season and qualified for the playoffs. The South Korean native originally joined Boston after playing for CONBOX in the Overwatch APEX league.
“We want to extend our deepest thanks to Young-Jin ‘Gamsu’ Noh for his contributions to the Uprising both as a competitor and a teammate in his time here,” said Chris “HuK” Loranger, President of Gaming for The Kraft Group. “He was a special part of our inaugural season and we wish him the best of luck as a member of the Shanghai Dragons.”
Bosworth signed a two-way deal with the Uprising in November as a main tank and began his career on Boston’s Contenders League team. As part of his contract, Bosworth will lose his Contenders eligibility if he appears in more than two Uprising matches.
“We are excited to add Cameron ‘Fusions’ Bosworth to our roster,” Loranger said. “We look forward to having him as a part of our team as we begin the season.”
The Uprising will open the regular season against the New York Excelsior on Thursday, Feb. 14 at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time.
