LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Boston Uprising announced today the signing of Cameron “Fusions” Bosworth to a two-way contract. The 19-year old main tank joins the Uprising from the British Hurricanes and will start the year as a part of the Uprising’s Contenders team, Toronto Esports.
As a two-way player, Bosworth counts towards the Overwatch League roster limit of 12 players and is eligible to compete with either the Uprising or Toronto Esports. A maximum of four players may be designated as two-way players during each Overwatch League stage and those players must be identified and submitted to the league office before each stage. Bosworth will lose his eligibility to play for Toronto Esports if he appears in more than two Overwatch League matches and he cannot compete in both Contenders and Overwatch League matches in the same week.
“We are excited to add Cameron ‘Fusions’ Bosworth to our roster,” said Chris “HuK” Loranger, President of Gaming for The Kraft Group. “We feel that ‘Fusions’ will be an important part of both the Uprising and Toronto Esports and we look forward to having him as a part of the team.”
The free agency window opened for all teams beginning on Oct. 8 and teams must have at least eight players on their roster by Dec. 1. The 2019 season will being on Feb. 14 at Blizzard Area in Los Angeles.
